The plans to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and adapt to climate change were adopted by the Municipal Councils in April 2024
In the last stage of implementation of the project “Black Sea E-mobility”, Plans for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and adaptation to climate change were developed for the municipal partners of the project by the team of the Union of Bulgarian Black Sea Local Authorities (UBBSLA).
The plans have been adopted by the Municipal Council of the respective municipality and are valid until the end of 2030.
The purpose of the plans is to determine the potential risks for the municipality from the changing climatic conditions, define specific adaptation measures to address the priority risks and allow the municipality to be maximally prepared. When preparing the Plans, the main strategic documents at the European and national level, as well as sectoral and horizontal documents related to climate change policies and adaptation to climate change, were taken into account.
